Finish the basement and then rent or sell?

I only went into the office 1 time a month.So the success is now I get to put max effort into finishing the property I bought a month ago.

I'm just finishing up a remodel on my first property which I was originally planning to flip.

The first two were turn key and #1 already had a tenant in place. 2nd was almost turnkey but the seller failed to finish the job after we closed.

I've been reading posts in this forum, reading bp blog posts and I just finished reading bp ultimate beginner guide.

I am out the $800 he stole, plus another $480 he probably stole but I can't prove it, plus $600 for an investigator, plus a two week delay on finishing one of my fix and flips to deal with personnel issues related to this whole thing.

These funds are kept in escrow so that Magdiel can be finished.

I have lived in Lexington now for three years and just finished buying a duplex.

My wife and I bought the home as our first house so we actually lived in it for a little while after it was finished before we sold.
