Although I see these issues on a regular basis, my wife and I are just paying off our student loans so we will have the ability to invest on our own.

Look for a mentor or peer local to you that you can interact with on a regular basis.

I found one a couple years ago, on auction.com, my regular realtor was on vacay, so I used a friend.

From that meeting I've built good friendships with several people and we help each other regularly with mindset and holding each other accountable to our goals.
