I've considered getting my license or getting into wholesaling but due to the costs of living on Long Island and the fact that my professional and social networks are entirely NYC-based, I'll likely be moving to a new market within the year.Do any other younger investors out there have any stories/tips they could share as to how they got the ball rolling?

I think networking can ve ans effective way, to help me understand how to get started, in flipping/ investing etc.

I am currently binge listening to BP podcast and looking forward to start attending some of the local meet ups as I hear networking is very key in this business.

I'm interested in meeting other wholesalers and investors in the DFW area and start building my network.

The Georgia real estate investors association is a good place to network.

That would be a great place to network if you find one. 

If I were going to have someone else manage them B or C class (think blue collar, and maybe lower blue collar) would be fine.What I would suggest is make sure you get good enough deals where, if you decide in a year or two that this just isn't for you, you can sell the properties and not lose any money after all closing costs.As for books, honestly I find BP and simply networking with local investors more helpful. 

Raise money for a Syndication – This is a great beginner’s way for someone that has a network and wants to get involved in the deal.
