I had a client here in the Dallas/Ft.

He told me about an older couple he knows in the DFW area who owns 40 single family homes in the Dallas Fort Worth area who generates almost a million dollars in passive income.

However its highly regional I think like Texas when I was snooping around Dallas for new construction money it seemed like it would be easier than other states I was working in..  

Dallas County has been incredibly aggressive in revaluation.  10-years ago they were revaluing most properties every 3 to 5 years. 

i am curious to know about the laws in the dallas area particularly plano.

One of the markets with the highest population growth is Dallas, TX, while the Providence, RI market has shown no significant population growth at all. 

Parts of TX (Dallas, Austin, Houston) have booming economies, however, the rent ratios in those markets are not great and TX has some of the highest property taxes and insurance rates in the countries, so although much better than CA, the cash flow and ROI is not great.

I am curious on your opinion on Dallas for out of state investors.

Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit and a few more cities fighting for them to set up shop in thier town.
