Hi, I had a painter who seems inexperienced who painted my house( referred by one other good handyman who gave up after taking half advance saying he got big projects cannot do these small jobs).

I don't hear too many investor doing ground up multi-family for house hacking in the area, so this is definitely interesting.

Do you also use Redfin/Zillow as a starting point? 

I purchased a rental unit and did some private funding in 2016, and I will probably expand this business by doing more deals.

If yes, how do the numbers look?

Is there anything my family can do?  

But we do not want to sell our current home.

If so, how many deals/loans do we need to do before I can expect more favorable terms?

What are you doing to proactively improve your situation?

Thankfully the station I am at isn’t very busy so I have the opportunity to do business while at my fire job and more than likely not get interrupted.
