The owner is trying to get $55,000 for it but the comps in the area have newly renovated duplexes for $55,000 and this property I believe- have not visited site yet, judging off of seller's descriptions- should go for somewhere around lower to mid $40k range.It would be my first property and since I'm in college having to pay $6k/semester for school, I don't have the immediate funds to which a bank would accept me today but in 6 months I most likely will.

My spouse is about to come back from Italy because the semester is about to end.

You'd graduate, be married, and have a child before you can call up your college friends  to see if they want to rent a room from you for the semester.  

For most states, you can take the fist stage of real estate examinations as a 8 credit hour semester to get your examination and license, plus an exam.  

So, during that semester, most of the deals, mostly commercial, was in Westchester, NY, just north of NYC.

However, closing wasn't until June to allow the seller's daughter to stay in the property until she finished her school semester.

After talking to my grandpa, we eventually opened the Vanguard account in my second semester of my freshmen year.

After my first semester of college, we moved back to Minnesota (where I was born), from Alaska (where my wife and I met) and I landed a construction job whilst I waited for eligibility to receive in-state tuition so that I may return to my scholastics endeavors.

I am currently in community college and ending the semester in about a month, and taking on a job where I will anywhere from 2K-4K.
