I've printed out a Notice to Quit and will post it on their door for legal protection.

And we had a large inground pool at our residence, really for the kids. 

It offers flexibility as a landlord to be able to offer more or less rooms as needed, protection to the landlord in that you can hedge with adding LTR or STR to the mix, and simplification to the business as your only dealing with one address.

It has an awesome job market, which is bringing in a lot of new residents, and that keeps the demand for housing up.

Best advice to you would be to use that VA loan as many times as you can and buy primary residences for a year, rent them out and then buy something else with the VA!

Are you able to move into the property and make it your primary residence?

As a side note, FDIC insurance protects depositor money, not debt.

The violations would include 'the personal occupation of a garage as residence' while asserting to police that he didn't live in it, along with the power overloads due to use not in keeping with a garage rental.  

Bank a few doors down from my residence didn't ever foreclose on a property.
