I have heard of folks doing the same to make preserved fish.(3) How about a string light? 

We both took responsibility, came to an agreeable solution, and preserved a mutually beneficial business relationship.

However, I'm trying to preserve my capital to do more deals, not tie it up in a single deal. 

The whole point of TDR is to preserve rural lands, especially further out.

Frankly a "society" of merchants working together is the only thing that could have stood up to the entrenched power of royalty and keeping that society "secret" was clearly a means of self-preservation.

Other than Servicers and FC attorneys you could try and reach,  Property Preservation companies, Seller Financed (recorded in local county records), and looking up lis pendens in your county area.  

The company that I own started as a foreclosure preservation company and has developed into a company that provides rehab services for investors.  

My advice would be to preserve capital by borrowing as much as possible on this house.
