I get so many unsolicited texts from buying my property, to voting, donations, etc.

I am very grateful and thankful to a parent who recently passed away and left us with an owned condo (no mortgage) . 

The last ADU property I sold, we had a lot of buyers come through looking to house their parents, uncles, etc.

I have been a guest at the Portland REIA's a few years back and my talk was on the new dodd frank and NMLS rules... well one of the regular's did not agree and was giving the folks horrible advice.. but of course him being a big shot and there every week and its what the people wanted to hear my talk was useless  LOL.. was not what they wanted to hear.the people that run them get a lot of leads coming their way and that is the benefit of donating their time..

Work with a good property management company who will get co-signers from parents (parents are typically paying rents) and be flexible around subleasing, especially during summer periods because students go home and do not always stay for summer time; this can still be a 12 month lease.

My parents have a cabin in the finger lakes not that far from Buffalo, and I’ve actually been reading good things about Buffalo. 

Here is my situation I grew up with slumlords my parents paid all cash for thirteen properties.

My plan right now is to stay at home for a year after college and save as close to 100% of my salary as I can (parents are happy to cover a lot of my expenses).

Also, we cannot relocate to another state at this time due to co-parenting, so we do need to continue living here in Las Vegas for another 6 years. 

There is nothing you can do to get your money in a timely manner if the other parent is self employed.
