If I would have purchased a nice turnkey duplex in January, I would likely be moved in, have a tenant paying 1/2 my mortgage, and more cash on hand to invest during this pandemic. 

In fact, if it weren't for these properties taken off the market, I don't think the Austin real estate market would even be showing any effects from the global pandemic.

I think it would be a nice way to help those on the front lines during this pandemic but can it be seen as discrimination if i advertise a 5% discount to nurses/first responders?

While we are having this pandemic, we can spend more time learning and BiggerPockets site has a lot to offer for your target niche. 

Most (including me) just roll over because the ends doesn't justify the means.In this pandemic it'll probably be like pushing a rope uphill.

So we are full blown pandemic.

Mine was pretty helpful securing a low rate during the pandemic.

Hope it lasts a few months... not the pandemic but the price correction. 

., wear a mask, sanitize your hands regularly, stay 6 ft apart and never be in the same room, etc.).Regarding the housing market taking a dive, that will depend heavily on how the economy recovers from this pandemic.  

Having the ability to respond to this stuff right away is critical, whether it's a holiday weekend or pandemic like now.
