It isn't jumping out of the plane that hurts, in fact it's a pretty nice view, it's hitting the ground that does the damage.

Hey guys im looking at real estate in South America ,for the price of a studio here in the U.S there you can get a 3br +1000sqf house in nice area of town ready to move in, been pondering on getting a personal loan here in the U.S to invest in a house in SA, what banks are best for this type of loan, i would like a low interest and monthly payments.

Unfortunately many landlords take the first group they find in these situations and come from the ideology that all college students are slobs so no sense offering anything nice. 

It would certainly be a nice thing to do.

Looking to cash flow on low entry homes in some pretty nice neighborhoods close to where I grew up.

It is just nice peace of mind that you don't always have to be available if their is an urgent maintenance issue.

This entire conversation in my opinion comes into play for a group or entity that may have 50-100 STR's where the branding will matter more but to be honest from what we have seen when they get that large they usually have lack luster service and subpar reviews- in the end someone that is 1031'ing mostly cares about that cash flow at that level and that's why and mostly only why they care about buying a brand. 1-15 units and a brand is nice but in my opinion wont break a deal- we are trying to do it but in the end its more for our guests to have a simple streamlined way to book with us.
