I have been looking online at 2-10 unit multifamily homes to start, which I see typically cost about $50k - $100k per unit in my area (Tallahassee or Melbourne/Palm Bay) without any negotiation.I do not want to wait to start this journey, but I understand the necessity of money in REI; so I wanted to hear some opinions on whether it would be too ambitious or not to start REI so soon, and especially without a large income.

Medical real estate has historically been recession-resistant due to the fact these properties provide the ‘room and board’ for healthcare tenants delivering a basic necessity for their communities, healthcare.

I'm driven by my passion for RE, helping people, and the pursuit of financial freedom and working by choice instead of necessity. 

If you use the home as a rental (out of necessity because the homes won’t sell or by design), the cost to move and setup the home is the responsibility of the community owner.  

To each their own but please don't by that car unless you are taking your skateboard to work now and it's a necessity purchase :-) .  

Keep your BS meter on high and due diligence is a necessity.

With all of your calling, lists, door knocking and communication campaigns, I would keep in the back of your head, the necessity to be very very clear, succinct, and upfront with every aspect of your endeavors with a  borrower, especially if they are in, or on the brink of being in foreclosure, so that you do not run afoul of the foreclosure consultant requirements in California, and many other states.

The property manager that overlooked the unit at time of inheritance remained and has dealt with all the necessities that have come with the process of cleaning out and finding new tenants to move in.

@Tyler Kastelberg I am quickly learning that outsourcing is a necessity. 

But when I read that and started thinking about it a little more, I started realizing how I've started thinking creatively about real estate out of necessity in putting together deals.
