Since we are retired, when we do need to put in the hours rehabbing a unit, we have the time without the stress of juggling jobs and LLing.My husband and I both have significant savings in 401Ks,  We wanted the keep the same proportion of our portfolio in RE, rather than placing it all in the stock market. 

We knock down hotels at a rate of 20-25 rooms per week per team, we have done 3-4 teams, but are best running 2, this is on a self-performing scenario and not juggling subs.

Hello to everyone out there, im having trouble in regards to where i should start at in Real Estate, Couple Years ago i got into one of the Top Real Estate Investing Company's in the Country, along the way i had issues with Landing a Job which also meant i had issues getting started with them, paying a fee and what not, which didn't really cost that much but still. i took a couple classes and saw what i wanted to get myself into, there after as time passed around this time last year i wrapped up my 2nd stint in going to school for something else, so i basically was trying to juggle multiple career paths.

Those who are in teaching know what I mean by juggling many things at once, dealing with different personalities and timelines and data driven aspects of the field while crafting a finished product.  

I do usually overestimate just a hair (5%) on the costs, to give myself some cushion.The only counterpoint is that some tenants may 'juggle' utilities with rent payment...

I have two now, and it is still challenging juggling both.

This an idea I have been juggling around in my head for sometime now.

I am just getting started as a new investor and I juggle the decisions of do I trade my time to save a little money and do the work myself or do I treat this like a business as is my goal and pay someone to do the work? 

I'm still juggling between a adjustable rate and a fixed rate mortgage.

It's gets tough juggling the day job and real estate, but the feeling of growing my real estate portfolio is so much more gratifying than any accomplishments at my 9-5......
