How does the race of a neighborhood, your mayor, the mayors election or the trash problem of your city have anything to do with what this thread is about? 

I did not operate under the impression that investing wisely was a race.

Weekends are when I can get most of my work done.Unfortunately im racing against time and would like to have the place rented out by Oct 1st.

Doesn't mean paralysis by analysis, or give in to fear, but this isn't a race either. 

I left my rat race job in Wall Street about 6 months ago to become a fulltime RE Investor. 

Keep saving you are still young and investing is not a race, contrary to what others may think.

We really want to get out of the rat race and begin living. 

I'm not a lawyer, but I'm almost certain that there NEEDS to be a reason in order to be discriminated against, such as race, religion, sex, etc.Unfortunately for you there is no law that says what type of flooring a unit needs to have.
