Live in the multi-family for a year, then move back into your own home and rent out the unit.If if not ideal, it's worth the hassle. 

The common thought is to not rent to friends or family.

I m in the same boat, doing some research and want to stay in Dubai with family, in near future. 

I am thinking of getting a list of leads and using the owner info to mail postcards or letters to find small multi family.

It hits home especially today as I am putting down a family dog that we have had 14.5 years. 

Hey bigger pockets family, I'm facing a dilemma that consists of me choosing whether or not to buy a tiny home and put it on my current home's property, creating an ADU to rent out or to save that money that I would put into the tiny home and save for my next purchase.
