Recommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.

If BP is not already thinking about it, I think there will come another platform that will pull in all the information from platforms like BP and other credible sources to build an intelligent conversational AI that gives real time and historical real estate related data for investors and stakeholders and at some point home buyers might not even need some of us anymore.

The latter process would take more time (due to capital generation from other sources), cash investment and end up with much less capital appreciation over time but would also carry much less potential risk.
