I was hoping for some feedback on if I should wait till, I get back to the states and use the VA home loan to house hack a multifamily property or do a long-distance investment and use a DSCR loan.

Not sure if its true but just the feedback I have received on other forums.

I understand some of the possible implications of making this move would be a likely higher interest rate and lower NOI on the new investment but would like to get additional feedback on what other things I should take into consideration with this possible move from those out there who might have some experience in this realm.

I appreciate everyone's feedback but I am still curious if there are any professional PM's with case studies.
