By amazing I mean very communicative, easy to work with, met deadlines, and stayed true to their loan terms. 

There need to be deadlines, agreements as to what happens if 'x' doesn't work out, etc., and hopefully an escape clause for the buyers in case a good condo comes up sold by people who actually intend to sell no matter what.Even if sellers agree to sell no matter what, there needs to be a deadline clearly specified for them to move out, it can't just be when they find a place.

In a space with many variables, unanticipated changes, tight deadlines, etc. it can be an effective mindset to have. 

But because the deadline is next week it is impossible to find anyone who could do or go through your taxes, so I'm scrambling to prep everything myself in the best way possible given the circumstances.

Just wait a few days, because we all are swamped until Oct 15, the IRS deadline.

The deadline I provided was yesterday evening and again, no reply. 

We had to deal with some contractor issues along the way, schedules & deadlines were not met unfortunately.

I was firm with the tenants multiple times over text/in person and essentially hardballed them with a strict deadline saying their items may get damaged by contractors by this date, and they ended up clearing everything out.Didn’t have to pay them any cash, hire an attorney, build a shed, or pay for storage.

It may help you with some sympathy and therefore some flexibility in meeting compliance deadlines.
