I am looking for ideas on how you allocate different expenses between different properties.

However, when it comes down to the operating agreement and ownership interest in the entity (which was solely created for the deal), how much is safe to allocate to each member category without giving away too much control to limited partners?

(And don't get me wrong, an easier value play would be great, but it is a time/resource allocation issue over the next 5 years or so).Thanks for your input folks.

How do you allocate towards two different investment vehicles?

I'm allocating a certain number of physical PV panels to each unit, wiring each grouping directly to each SDGE meter. 

First if anyone disagrees with what my percentage allocation is please let me know.

One thing you failed to account for is land allocation.

If you are able to do that then allocate at least 2-3 hours of study time per chapter in a quiet place.

I can usually allocate about 25k a year if needed. 

If someone is an expert and lives it and breathe it daily they can get a much higher comfort level allocating much higher percentages to a certain type of investing.
