Books, tapes and seminars won't cover the actual day to day lifestyle, so I thought I'd ask for your experience as part of the whole picture. 

The idea is similar to modern day pioneers looking for an area to build a new home in a better environment than we are currently in.My question: Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we could incorporate this lifestyle with building a real estate portfolio? 

I'm bullish on Reno as a lifestyle location and I think Carson City is a lower priced option for that same lifestyle.

I think multifamily is one of the best vehicles for passive income, tax benefits and growing wealth, but my why was to create a lifestyle that supported my business.A strong why will counteract any bumps in the road, in my case, some pretty big pot holes.  

I’d prioritize my lifestyle preference over potential appreciation when deciding between those two different environments.

With our joint income, we’d have about 40k a year to invest.We’re pretty flexible people and don’t mind the lifestyle choice behind either option.

You may be able to get them into an amazing walkable neighboorhood while paying 0 in rent and affording them a superior lifestyle balance, also possibly freeing their income to make stronger investments with you. 

This is going to be a huge lifestyle change so I want to build trustworthy relationships and hit the ground running when I arrive.Take care!
