Hi first post here just looking for advice, I rent a multi family home 2 unit for about 15 years have been lucky to have both units rented for 10 years no issues, well until now.

It's hard to make the numbers work on a DSCR loan these days although we do have clients who do it - especially in the multi-family space.

I have been thinking small office or retail (which I have experience in); larger multi family (10-20 unit), RV Storage, and have even thought about beach front hotel, or at least ocean view hotel.

@John Cooper when you or someone you care about is living in the home it is important to be extra vigilant in choosing tenants.

Also, I would want to see Line 14 SE shown as 0 no matter whether it's reported as Line 1 income or Line 4 guaranteed payments.Good luck in pursuing with AHP if you choose to go that route.
