I came back from a trip three weeks later, and it was still there.

I self manage 5 from 8 hours away round trip.

Be prepared to pay $75 to an electrician to flip a tripped breaker or change a ceiling light bulb, $75 to a plumber to change a flapper in a toilet or a cartridge in a faucet, $750 to replace a hot water tank, fridge, washer/dryer, $100 to a cable/internet tech to unplug and plug in a modem, the list goes on.

That is where I live/work and I make regular weekly trips to downtown Portland to meet up with friends socially.

After a wonderful weekend trip to Atlanta to check out neighborhoods we want to invest in, we came to the following conclusions.

Checking in from vacationing in Spain: verifying @Omar Khan threw me the trip after one-year's membership in his exclusive diamond jubilee club.

This leaves a person to deal with buying fancy watches, or simply carrying the 10K limit over in cash on every trip home.  

If all works out we stand to make a nice profit which we will look to reinvest most of it, but may take our ten year anniversary trip to Bora Bora next year...at least it's a nice goal!

So today I was doing maintenance at one of my rentals, I opened the closet to access the central AC handler unit to change the filter and after I opened the closet door,  I had to rearrange a few things to clear the space to the left so I can have a clear path to the filter slot.As I moved some clothes to the right my hand touched what appeared to be a human head on the rack.I quickly jumped back and in my mind was a scene in Silence of the Lambs...I tripped on myself and fell on my butt.I was so scared LOL.Glad the tenant wasn't there.

I would also use that trip to interview 3 other local PM candidates and hire the best one before getting on the plane home.
