The folks I know in that space have said there has been a lot of new units going online and its been tougher the last couple years to rent unless the units are newly updated (en-suites/etc). 

While I love high growth too, negative cashflow has always seemed overly-risky to me.Now many pundits are predicting housing prices to drop https://www.msn.com/en-us/mone...And others note that rents are not rising as much as they had https://www.msn.com/en-us/mone...Unfortunately, if you bought a negative cashflow property hoping for appreciation, you may be waiting a LOOOOOOONG time to get back to positive.
