If the cost of rehabbing it is more than it’s insured for, they’ll just cut me a check for what it’s insured for minus the $2,500 deductible.

I would not waste my time with what was being smoked or how I learned of the violation.

That could be thousands of dollars, and you might not even close, so they just wasted several grand for no reason.

In short, don't cut corners and it will profit you later.

However, if it was a floating LVP floor, you should be able to relay the same flooring since water wouldn't damage the LVP flooring and you already have pieces cut to fit. 

It has been frustrating but it also is a positive as I now can quickly know what deals to not even waste time on analyzing.
