I am considering having a real estate agent video tape/vid chat house showing, have an inspector inspect the house (without me), I would go there for the closing of course, but maybe deal with minor upgrades like flooring or cabinet upgrades as remotely as possible and finding a property manager to take care of it.

@Nicole Clemens You could ask for ID, videotape the signing of the document, bring a witness, ect.I would also meet in person at the property and verify nobody else is there.

If not, and again, I mean here in CO and after consultation with my attorney on this exact topic, I know that if it appears the tenant has abandoned the property and left nothing of value behind that I should walk the unit and video tape what I see.
