My thoughts would be the BitCoin would be treated as any other security or investment vehicle if it’s not seen as a foreign currency.

The investigation will ask for pictures of license plates on vehicles parked in the driveway, witness statements, and unannounced visits by the County to investigate. 

Looking at the long-term picture I just alluded to though, that wouldn't be my preferred investment vehicle.

It sounds like you're a high earner looking for a strictly passive investment vehicle, and replacing that seed money isn't as important as it may be to others.

No reason to involve a second debt vehicle. 

Like I can do a BRRR on 600k property with no cash-flow or a 150k property with $300 monthly cash-flow, but do not have the same investment vehicle, and it is the same cash that is doing both, as for the 600k purchase I'd be using the same 100k towards hard money loan. 

All of us as investors know this inherently; we make investments based on our best information and guesses on how the vehicles we choose will pan out.
