I think the consensus is unanimous that it's better and safer to just return the deposit minus reasonable costs, even when the renter breaks the lease.

The typical 3-5 year holding period for syndications initially seemed odd, but it all makes sense after seeing how the increase in NOI tapers off in the chart.I also wanted to ask, when you say tenant in commons (TICs) involve decentralized management, are you talking about the (previous) LPs now having to agree unanimously along with the sponsor regarding decisions regarding the property?

I would still be illegal but the ADRE wouldn't know who I was, and I would have no liability to other forum users, but everyone posting unanimously would greatly reduce the networking and credibility of the forums.
