Rotting tree: tenant willing to cut down...liability?

If you have woodworkers in your area who want maple slabs you may be able to sell the trunk in pieces for some worthwhile money.Maybe try fishing in the woodworking forums, (will be cutting old maple on x/x/xxxx open to all offers for the wood) plus a pic of the tree and one of it's green leaves. Some of these guys will drive quite a way to get their precious slabs (which the turn into bars and tables and etc, and sell to well off people as custom made furniture). They like parts best where limbs grow out of the trunk (the grain is different).I've not done this, but I have seen it done.Good Luck!

Probably mid 40's.I had not thought of that crash for many years as it was about 46 Years ago.. also on the way home for the Bay Area BP members we were driving over Hwy 17 back to San Jose and got pulled over.. we thought we were nabbed.. but it was just a traffic violation also there I am in the back seat leg torn up and bleeding cop never said a word :) Some room mates of mine from Chicago thought it would be fun to drive around the business districts with a person in the trunk with a leg sort of dangling out under the trunk door held down with a bungee.
