I spoke with another buddy who mentioned updating to QUARTZ since it's much less porous than granite and will last a lifetime.. however, he deals with stylish/hi-end units where as this one of mine is moreso middle/entry-high level unit, so the tenant probably doesn't care about Quartz' stylish looks.. has Quartz come down in price the same manner as granite in recent years due to over-popularity (thanks HGTV!)?

A simple vent hood is practical and can be very modern and stylish and won't have to be replaced as frequently as a microwave.

I especially love the English gardens very stylish.

We kept the bones but revived the property with stylish, modern finishes all while nodding to the original Mid-Century vibe.

@Aaron Moore a well maintained, stylish, fair priced property will have little vacancy in areas with diverse economic bases.In a downturn, comparable to 2008-10, people were loosing jobs, going into foreclosure and vacancy rates dropped because more people became rentals. 

Well you can pull anything off if you have someone who can market with creative content such as After effect videos to enhance video quality and show of property in a stylish yet creative manner, building a logo/brand for you business isn't hard these days with mockup. 

These relatively inexpensive finishes made the place look nice and stylish.

But it does get a mind thinking, only because the house I live in now was moved to this property, built in the 40's, all wood floors, pretty sound and stylish, but this deal would be for someone who has plenty of money and time on their hands to possibly make a move and profit from it in the short term if they are creative lol.
