Because that money is inheritance and not from W2 or a reoccurring source, you really cannot bank on that.

It's definitely worth investigating.Yes, you can install motion-sensor cameras to monitor vacant rentals, but they require some paid service to monitor remotely (wifi, hotspot, etc.)

Just another thought, they do have submeters that can monitor the individual spots and you could charge back the total cost to the tenant if they are assigned spots. 

Also, monitor current mortgage rates, as high rates can significantly impact your monthly payments.Your personal circumstances are also important.

Agree, Ring or some other camera monitoring  system, security systems will  have issues with alarms &  beeping and other issues which might be a nuisance for guests. 

They use tools to monitor listings and may even check other booking sites to track this.
