You avoid the tax hit, and still get the use of 75% of the equity if you do a cash out refi - (but high interest rates sort of play against that to some degree presently… but you could alway refi again down the line if rates dropped.

Hello,My wife and I have completed about 30 flips, 25 or so have been from the MLS and the other few have been off-market deals presented to us by wholesalers.

We’re working in a smaller market like Cornelia, GA, where comparable sales data can be limited, and want to make sure we present a strong case to lenders.

I presently have a negative cash flow  in all 3 properties but am more interested in paying off the mortgages early to reap rewards later.Any thoughts?
