Other options include the BRRRR strategy, which allows you to recycle your capital by refinancing after renovations, or partnering with an experienced investor to scale faster.

Ultimately I didn't learn too much I didn't already know after taking a few courses and reading a hand-full of books, and with most of people I've met and tried to talk with, it's been a pretty common experience that conversations go a lot like that.

Too often these days we double down” on our own beliefs, and refuse to listen to the experiences and conclusions of other experienced people, when they differ from our own.

Connecting with experienced investors is a great move as it allows you to learn from others' experiences and opens doors to partnerships, resources, and insights you might not have considered.

What i am seeing from the most experienced So CA RE investors is the opposite.  

Every investor, even the experienced ones, has that “Did I mess up?”

But I find that most people want to invest in areas that are solid and that don't have bad tenant quality.
