I would like to buy patents and license them (there is no money in photography or video these days - the microstock websites have killed that niche).Real Estate - I own single family homes that I bought as distressed property - I'll continue to do that if an opportunity presents itself and I'm liquid, I have some property tax liens on land I am foreclosing on (with a plan to seller finance the properties if I successfully foreclose).Stocks - I have a VERY small tax deferred portfolio - I like Ford (is that contrarian?)

@Franky Juwana, what @Arianne L. said.In all probability you will "get away" with this, which is called occupancy fraud by the way, initially.Then when you go to apply for your next mortgage, it will be patently obvious to the underwriter (assuming the LO doesn't catch it) that you did not do what you promised to do the last time you got a mortgage.

(basically selling off so many undivided interests is construed as by-passing subdivision laws) But it does happen on a smaller scale, I own a 1/6 undivided interest in patented 30 acre silver mine in CA.
