Political discussion is prohibited in the forums and while I realize it is difficult to discuss policies that are enacted/enforced/overturned by politicians, you are limited to discussing the policies themselves and not the worth/worthlessness of those involved in crafting/overturning the policies.

The low-hanging fruit is gone, but if you're willing to work hard by getting off the beaten path and overturning a lot of rocks, you can be quite successful.And there are several resources - quite a few folks here on Bigger Pockets and the many specific BP posts and forums from those knowledgeable Investors & Owners, your State Self Storage Association, podcasts, You Tube Videos, and some of us even have written books and/or have meetings and trainings too.In other words, there's quite a bit at your disposal. 

Well I can certainly understand how you missed it, since I only mentioned it about 5 times (as well multiple times by multiple others in this thread).Its exceedingly simple and if you had done any real research it would have jumped off the page and slapped you right in the face.The primary members of the group floating this proposal are the very same coalition that have been attempting to over turn IN TOTALS Prop 13 for many years, but have as to date failed miserably in their efforts to destroy it for all.So now they have reverted to some of the most despicable divide and conquer tactics of class warfare by nakedly and shamelessly pandering to people's envy of those they perceive to have more than they do.

You need to put the right number of units on the right line.You can also do a FOIA request for the water records, if that shows more units you can get it overturned. 

You should do lots of research and drive by each property that you might bid on.It depends on the laws in your state as to how string your tax deed is.I have been very luck and now have a nice portfolio of tax deed houses.I am also currently litigating a tax deed property where the precious owner is trying to over turn the county issued deed.With proper research you can mitigate a lot of the risk.There is  lot of information on the BP forums that you can study on tax liens.
