I bought a 3/2.00 home in Tampa, FL in April 2022 for $245k at a 4.75% interest rate, I still owe $210K on the loan, my RE agent thinks it could sell for $280k ($70k in equity).

The creditor in this case would be whomever the Promissory Note is owed to - IE - whoever the borrower borrowed the money from to fund the loan.

banks are only owed what their note calls for any bid up at auction above what the bank is owed goes to the next Lien on title or if no other liens it goes to the owner of the house who lost it.

From what I understand HOA/POA dues don't get wiped out with foreclose sale in FL, so if you see a $150,000 condo get sold for $50,000, could you still owe $100,000 in back HOA dues and special assessments?
