So I have been finishing up this excellent book on behavioural economics called 'Predictably Irrational' and I highly recommend it if you haven't read it yet as I believe it to have excellent application to investors!

This has required very developed interpersonal skills to speak with many high-ranking officials at the university that intially viewed me as young and experienced.

I'm not advocating unethical behaviour.

There are potential inter-personal issues with this, of course, and I wouldn't suggest it unless your family member is financially secure and you're also very sure that you wouldn't be putting their credit at any risk.

We also think very similarly and have similar standards/risk tolerance, so there wasn't any interpersonal conflict.I've had so much fun with that rental over the last year, I took up managing a 3 unit in N.

My day job is in MBA career services, and when I meet with our alumni, they commonly say that their soft skills classes (OB, Interpersonal Dynamics, etc) have been most helpful for them as growing leaders in their organizations.

Truth is you got off really easy this time since in most cases tenants put up and take down walls, do electrical and much more without permission and often placing themselves the owner and the property in peril.You were very luck this time but you should not condone this type of behaviour from tenants in the future.

Much as I understood autistic behaviour, we still stopped Gene when he repeatedly slammed doors. 

We rely less on Zoom or Slack and leverage our interpersonal relationships for the best outcomes. 

Buzz saw ripping wood at 3 am, or etc...If you dislike the renter interpersonally, well that's another issue.Good Luck!
