So you be able to put a very thin bead of caulk in larger cuts and go over it with a wet finger or wet wipe to fill in and level any indentation.

Indenting like this looks old fashioned, but some do it.Try spacing before = 0.0, spacing after = 0.6 and see if that looks nice to you.Good Luck!
