Depends heavily on the goals of the parents and kids, what the estate of the parents looks like, and the age and life expectancy of the parents.The path forward should weigh the holistic situation and everyone's goals.I'm a proponent of not gifting large amounts of capital directly to children unless the estate is large and gifting is part of the overall estate tax mitigation strategy.

I'm not an attorney, and you should get the final word from one.Let's dissect the language:"Owning, without more, real or personal property" [Emphasis Mine]Most laypeople skip over really important language when reading sections of legal code, as they tend to focus in on parts of the code, and in doing so they miss others and don't consider everything together in a holistic manner.What does the "without more" above mean?

A group of other Autistic adults, along with myself, are working out a program[ among others, it's more a holistic approach] where Autistics can create their artwork [jewelry, paintings, etc.] and our groups will be helping with the marketing, etc. so that people can make a sustainable income from their work.Including other, non[Autistic individuals would be awesome combined with your suggestion could prove to be no less than a miracle for tens or hundreds of thousands of "uniquely wired" individuals.
