Once someone has paid, what to them is a good deal of money, and invested a good deal of time, and become emotionally involved with a particular mentor and his program, they’ll fight like hell to defend it.  

It's crazy to think seller finance owners are willing to fight over $6k on the list price but won't pay $3-4k to have an attorney draft something they can enforce. 

I am so grateful for the freedoms our vets fight for. 

You can try and fight it but does not mean you will be successfulI would also be curious to see what your property insurance looks likeFor me this is just another example that home prices are gonna eventually have to soften as between taxes, insurance and Interest rates home affordability is very challenging

Has anyone had any luck obtaining legal counsel and fighting this?  

If you really can help, you should get a legal team for us and help us fight this battle together.

It isn't doing "SubTo's" that is illegal, it's how they are done and how they are treated and what your assumptions are and what your unpredictable seller does.Attorneys love these kinds of fights.

What you need to do is show the tenant that it would be better for them to just move out without issue than to fight you on this.So, I'd lay it out for them.
