I have heard people on this forum refer to sacrifice as not being able to go on a tropical vacation, giving up cable or not going to the bars on a Friday night.

Keep in mind that the areas you're looking at are not tropical and have seasonal weather.I've seen houseboats in The Keys as successful rentals.I hope you can make a profit but I think it'll be tough.Good luck

I was thinking of South Suburbs such as Oak Lawn, Burbank, Evergreen Park but I'm not as familiar with those areas so I do not know if I will have problems renting them out.
