In other words held for steady cash flow.My VARIABLE (note) PORTFOLIO consists of more active/speculative notes - non performing notes I purchased at discount to principal owed; notes I hope to “work” for enhanced ROI, real property I “purchased” with a leaseback option to repurchase, and defaulted notes I purchased planning on eventually taking ownership of the real estate, as well as notes I created that don’t have current payments but provide a guaranteed return plus an equity “kicker” when the property is sold.

If you are buying loans then its more complex as you have discounts involved, monthly cash flows, outflows (like servicing costs) and unknown exit dates.

These properties can be a lot of work through getting permits, remodeling it and sometimes city wants new codes for the property too (I.e. fire sprinklers etc.).

My mum currently lives there, she is 80 and not very well, but you would also become a tenant in common and as such if you had the time you could profit 100% from the transaction, as I need cash urgently and am willing to heavily discount the asset.I am wondering if there is a market out there where someone wants to get a foothold in the London market by buying my part of the property.
