do what you say you will do...be willing and open to learning...you may not know everything ever..the books on investing may have been wrong...OTOH, let me add to this...do not be afraid to stand up for yourself.people will tryto take advantage of you in this business...i've had several contractors laugh in my face when i tell them what i'll pay or what my other quotes for that job are....don't take it personally.as long as you're not bluffing, you just learned a lesson on who to do business with!!

The owner wanted to do a seller carry for 200k with a 8.5% interest rate and Sale it for 300k.After a month of the seller bluffing about all the buyers they had we finally got it done.

If he's conveying to her that he doesn't want to sell it, I figure either that is the truth and no one is prospecting him or he does want to sell and he's just not telling her (assuming she's a confidant like his wife or common law).BLUF: I'm looking for suggestions on how to follow up this botched call.

I partially think they are bluffing, not sure thou.

BLUF: it's okay to use USAA if you are going to house hack as a method of scaling your real estate investment business...I would recommend finding a lender that understands your need beyond the normal consumer level services. 

BLUF, revisit the verbiage in the contract that shows him what he is getting as a result of the transaction.

We have a mutual friend which makes his story a bit more reliable but I need your help to figure out if he was bluffing.
