While I am an attorney and lean on those skills I would be more inclined to consider my career that of a real estate developer at this point.

Last piece of advice is to surround yourself with quality service providers (real estate brokers, lenders, accountants, attorneys, PM's, Contractors, Insurance Brokers)., They will be instrumental to your business. 

So, in the end I would caution anyone who wants to try it to hire a real good counsel, a Dodd Frank/Safe Act/TLA and CFPB versed attorney,  and thread the waters accordingly.

If you own several apartment buildings your best interest might be to speak with a asset protection attorney versus asking questions online of just anyone who might respond.Good Luck!

Start by talking to a cross-border CPA and attorney to handle taxes and legal structures properly.

If so make they have their earnest money held by the attorney and not the agents broker.

Fines for unsolicited calls and texts run from $500 to $1,500 PER CALL and there are a lot of attorneys out there looking for people like you to sue.  

We sold to an attorney who provided a retail-cash offer and quick close, relocating to the area.

If you hit a wall I would speak with an attorney with that specialty.

Consider consulting a real estate attorney or CPA to determine the best strategy based on tax efficiency, future sale plans, and estate considerations.
