STR on the Mars soon 

Buying in East Mesa a SFR as I commute each week but will be doing STR on weekends.

Currently what kills the motivation to purchase STR on the coast in the eastern side is insurance cost.

I think if you market it well, you could have a great STR on your hands.

Pierce in early August and own a STR on Hutchinson Island.  

I'm inclined to go STR on all four!

@Joseph ODonovan Hey, Joseph i own a STR on the opposite side of the basin, great neighborhood great people in bungalow Park.

Our STR we use a PM and it is work (we tried doing it ourselves many years ago and we are fairly experienced PMs but this was too much work for our lives - we self manage around 20 LTR units if we thought it was not easy imagine less experienced PM).As @Aaron Friberg indicated before considering STR on Condo make sure that it is allowed in the complex.In summary, the rents are good but STRs in San Diego could have legislation curtailing them and STRs at the beach are not passive.Good luck

I own and do a str on a lake front in poconos close to kalahari and I haven’t been disappointed , looking to dive into the lake harmony area which is another hot spot I believe it being closer to Jim Thorpe

We have been warning people about trying to do a STR on a property that they don't own.
