Being financially stable enough to devote most of my time to ministries AND be extravagantly generous is my ultimate goal.

We are very active in ministry.

While I do serve in some ways in my present situation my limited time (due to working full-time) and resources (due to raising 6 kids and being the sole breadwinner in our home) make it difficult to serve in ways that I would like to be able to.With that in mind I am getting into REI as a way to eventually free up more time that could be used to minister to others and build up they kinds of financial resources to provide for my family, minister to others directly, and financially support other ministries.

I grew up in this area, but spent the last 20 years in minstry, mainly as a missionary in Rio de Janeiro.The last two months I was a seasonal hire at Costco while I got reaquainted with life in Texas (and out of full time ministry).I am researching the possibility (with Career Counselors and Coaches) of a job in Commercial Real Estate Development and Ivestment....

Eric reminds me of one of those people on the commercials who are like "I save money with ______, and I am not a paid spokesman!"

My goal is to become a renaissance woman of sorts with interests in real estate, social research, Christian ministry, and education (in no particular order because I'd actually like to do them all at once--call me crazy!).

Tony was initially hired as the spokesman for fellow marketer Greg Renker (Guthy-Renker).

In fact, when we moved to southern California from northern California, we rented out rooms in our 4600 sq. ft. house and 2100 sq. ft. guest house on 20 acres, to 14 college aged girls from around the world, that were students in a ministry school.

But for years now, it has been a dream of mine and my husband's to give away 50% of our income to ministries at our church and other causes we care about, such as orphan care.
