I definitely have some rose tinted glasses on and am drawn to the idea of 'lifestyle investing' hence why I am trying to get more realistic/experienced advice here.Kathryn and Jonathan, if I had to summarize your feedback;-If it seems so great, it will be competitive -If it is competitive, I am massively disadvantaged not being local/experienced in the market.

Make sure it fits your lifestyle. 

Personal background: Married with no kids, 100% debt free, live a rather tame lifestyle and don't spend large amounts of money, two newer vehicles (2020 & 2024) so no vehicle purchases expected for the next 10 years. 

Oh, they are all out there right now on the “training / membership” circuit trying to sell you on a lifestyle or an investment strategy.

Those frauds just buy 'carbon credits' so they can feel better about themselves, they don't really care or they would alter their lifestyles instead of pounding the rest of us with the guilt, Lol....And if we look at the temps for the last millenium instead of the last century, they can show that although we are in a temporary upswing, we're really on a slide into a colder era.

Also consider your lifestyle and if you want to be traveling 3 days just to check to see if a water heater is installed correctly and your property manager is looking after your property.

@Joe S.Agree lifestyle creep is very real!  

We all have different financial situations, lifestyles, risk tolerances and goals so what would be a good investment for one person might not work for someone else. 

I don't follow that type of lifestyle and I stay away from people that gloss over it.
