Hi everyone,I have the opportunity to start my short-term rental business by adding small/tiny houses in my property.

He is an expert Poconos STR realtor and I believe would be a great resource for you. 

.- My Resources / Constraints: I'm in a by no means unique, but perhaps less common situation for those getting started; I'm a somewhat senior software engineer at a tech megacorp and should be able to save a couple of down payments per year for lower priced houses (100-200 in my area), or perhaps one medium priced house (300-500).

I myself started by buying a 3-fam, and living in one of the units, before the term house-hacking became known.  

It's no guarantee but it's a good place to start.

I plan to manage this property myself, manage the finances, manage the tenet forms and etc all by myself so I can learn how to do everything right away when I'm first starting.

I started off saving funds from my w2 as well.
