I had a long conversation with Equity Trust today, and I'm almost ready to move forward with them, but upon further investigation they seem to have some pretty negative reviews.

I started down this journey once I realized that being a youth pastor alone would never provide the financial future that I want for my wife and kids so I started investigating real estate and reading "BRRRR".  

That they are investigating.

Have you investigated any local rental ordinances?

Has anyone had experience with this - in other words - can she simply decline the charge without the credit card company reaching out for investigation into the matter?

I told them that if this repeated incident does not stop, I need to investigate further and take action accordingly. 

You may want to investigate these matters closely.
