If appreciation is part of your long-term wealth-building strategy, holding onto this asset could be wise.That said, if your main goal is to aggressively pay down your primary residence mortgage, selling could make sense.

There's anywhere from $1.5 to $2,000,000 in equity, but the issue is it's owned by her 85 year old grandmother and they have no idea what to do with the property.

I also managed to creatively acquire two apartment buildings with $0 down about 4 months ago, one of which currently has a water main Leak under the slab and two of the residents have been without water for over a week, but that's another story for another time... 

I am struggling to find someone to fund a primary residence.
