HOUSE HACK/BUY & HOLD LONG-TERM RENTALS/SHORT-TERM RENTALS/CO-LIVING/PADSPLITS! Taking care of people. That´s what I love to do. I always thought I´d be a doctor or physical therapist, so I went to college and got an Associate of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy Studies and then a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. These degrees gave me a framework for how to think analytically, and developed patience and perseverance in me. After college, I joined the United States Army as a medic with the 82nd Airborne Division. My favorite part of being in the army was taking care of my guys, making sure they were in peak physical condition and helping them recover when they were hurt. After all, jumping out of airplanes, again and again, does tend to be hard on the body. I learned to be calm under stress, and fully embraced the code of discipline, honor, integrity, and completing the mission no matter what the challenges. A few months before getting out of the army, I began to look into real estate investing. I fell in love with all of it...the entire process of seeking properties, analyzing deals, making connections and the thrill of finding new opportunities daily. The things that naturally stress most people seem to motivate me in a positive way and I enjoy the challenge of finding places and getting deals even while working within time constraints. This brings us to now. I´m a real estate agent and a Military Relocation Specialist. I love what I do. It´s not a job to me, it´s my passion. These days, I get to take care of people in a different way- by helping them fulfill the American dream of home-ownership or commercial real estate ownership, or by finding great deals for investors seeking to begin or expand their portfolio. The Monzo Group started in 1999 purchasing homes throughout Macomb county. We renovated the properties and turn them into "buy and hold" rental properties. Since those early days, we have acquired large contracts with HUD and Banks with local homes and handle all marketing, maintenance, and inspection services. Real Estate always came naturally to me. With mentorship from two Realtor grandparents and a residential investor father, I developed the passion early and have been doing deals ever since. One property at a time, I built a large block of turn-key rental properties based primarily in Macomb County. In 2004, I decided to expand my investor skill set by getting my Realtors license. The business came easy to me considering I have been around it my whole life. One deal led to another, which eventually led to a contract offer to market homes for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This contract brought me to another level and enabled me to create a solid marketing plan while bringing employees on to grow the business. Since our HUD account, we have serviced dozens of banks and credit unions over the years. A large portion of our inventory is sold to investors and we developed close relationships with a large number of them. With this high level of performance, our business continues to expand with a large presence in the estate and probate sale market.
